I've Got Pet Problems - Guild Wars Forums

My problem is probably just a simple one. I had a pet that I tamed in the training world (meaning before you go into the academy) and then I went into the academy and my pet was still there but after two fights he died. I tried to find his body so I could rez him but I couldn't find him. Is there a way for me to find my pet's body without running everywhere? Or, is my pet gone for good because I tamed him in the training world and am now in the main world? I wonder, also, if my pet is dead then can I just tame another one then? Or, even though he's dead he is still locked to me and so I have to rez him before I can abandon him? Not sure what to do.

Try leaving the town. (Pets don't show up in towns.) Your pet should be there. If not, post back and I'll try to help you.

oh if youre pet dies and you cant find its body or cant res it... go to a town and
go back out youre pet should be alive and well by youre side then

If you left pre searing without fulling completing the rogue secondary quest you will have to talk to ranger nente north westish of ascalon in order to re obtain your pet skills

Ah, okay, I don't know actually. I'll check and see if I have the charm equipped or not. Good suggestion.

If your pet dies and you map back to a town and then back out into a non-town zone your pet will be alive and kicking with ya. On a side note I had an interesting thing happen the other day with my pet in an area around Lions Arch (dont remember which zone it was but it was the one where you have to kill all the undead in the swamp with the white mantle knights.) Anyway I noticed my pet had disappeared and then started to lose life. I ran all over and couldn't find it anywhere. It got all the way to 0 life left but didn't die. I am guessing it must have gotten stuck in a wall or under the world or something, but it was fairly weird. Once I zoned it came back though
